Real Madrid’s Isco’s future is up in the air
Is Isco’s time in Real Madrid nearing it’s end? That’s the question that many people are starting to ask themselves as the Spanish midfielder on various occasions has expressed his displeasure with his current situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Isco has been performing with Real Madrid since June of 2013 as the Spanish player became the first signing of Carlo Ancelotti with a price tag of €30 million. During his very 1rst season as a player of Real Madrid, he was an off and on player as Isco did get plenty time on the pitch and on a consistent basis too but it was fairly rare to see him perform during the entirety of a match as he was regularly subbed off or entered the pitch as a substitute player.
It’s been almost 4 years and Isco’s role has not changed as he continues getting a significant amount of playing time in every single season but mostly as a substitute player, as he still struggles trying to actually perform in an entire match.
Getting consistent playing time in a squad that is as star-studded as Real Madrd is something that players might find difficult to do but Isco has accomplished however; he is not satisfied and might walk out on Real Madrid if his situation does not change.
"I'm calm but I'm concerned about the number of minutes I am playing because the career of a player is very short. I'm very happy here and I would like to stay for many more years. We'll take a decision at the end of the season, because my future is at stake’’ Real Madrid’s Isco said.
From the looks of it, Zinedine Zidane might have to make some changes within his squad and make aIsco an undisputed first-team player or else, the 24 year old player will be making his way out of Real Madrid in the foreseeable future.
