The 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League battle between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich was held on April 18 of 2017 and the Spanish club came out on top with a 4-2 which was more than enough for the team of Zinedine Zidane to advance into the semifinals of the European football competition.
Cristiano Ronaldo secured a hat-trick in this match as the Portuguese player scored 3 times while Marcos Asensio was also able to find the back of the net. Bayern Munich tried to make a comeback and stay alive with Robert Lewandowski scoring a penalty set-piece and an own goal of Sergio Ramos kept the hope of Bayern Munich alive but they failed to score any other goal and the aggregate scoreboard showed 6-3 with Real Madrid emerging victorious.

James Rodriguez says that he is only concentrating on doing well whenever he is given the opportunity.
The Colombian international was linked with a move away from Real Madrid during the January transfer window. He did not seem to be in the plans of manager Zinedine Zidane, despite having cost the club an incredible £ 75 million from Monaco during the regime of Carlo Ancelotti. He has featured in only 13 league matches this season. However, he played a crucial role in the club’s 4-1 win over Eibar during the weekend. Rodriguez came up with a brilliant goal in the second half to provide a convincing look to the score.

Is Isco’s time in Real Madrid nearing it’s end? That’s the question that many people are starting to ask themselves as the Spanish midfielder on various occasions has expressed his displeasure with his current situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Isco has been performing with Real Madrid since June of 2013 as the Spanish player became the first signing of Carlo Ancelotti with a price tag of €30 million. During his very 1rst season as a player of Real Madrid, he was an off and on player as Isco did get plenty time on the pitch and on a consistent basis too but it was fairly rare to see him perform during the entirety of a match as he was regularly subbed off or entered the pitch as a substitute player.

Haven made clear their pursuit of glory in the Europe’s biggest soccer contest, the hierarchy at PSG reacted to their three consecutive quarter-final exit in the Champions League by relieving Laurent Blanc of his managerial duties despite his exploits in the domestic scene.
Thus, Unai Emery who led Sevilla to three successive Europa League triumphs was drafted in to replicate the same impact at the capital club. This season has been much tighter, and to be honest, much more entertaining, but it brings into question the appointment of the manager, a second nature to Laurent Blanc’s tenure. The team is less effiecient and altogether seems to be a step below last year’s team.

Zinedine Zidane says that he is extremely happy to have been part of the Real Madrid setup as the manager in 2016, as it has just finished extraordinarily successful for the club.
After managing to overcome a disappointing start to last campaign under Rafa Benitez, the club managed to end up as the Champions League winners in the summer. Zidane became one of the very few people to have won the title as a player and as a manager. More importantly, he managed to win the competition in less than six months after taking over and it is a record matched by few people like Roberto di Matteo.
