Chris Brunt is going to continue captaining West Bromwich Albion. The new boss Alan Irvine confirmed that yesterday.
West Brom has changed managers quite a lot in the last few seasons, but, there’s been no change in captaincy. Brunt has been leading the side for the last three years and he will have the armband during the 2014-15 Season too.
According to Irvine, there is no point replacing Brunt as skipper at the moment. He has been pretty good at that position in the recent times. Also, he is a unanimously respected figure in the dressing room.
