Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla are the goal-keepers that will be competing against each other for a spot in the starting lineup of Rafael Benitez for the next season but even though Benitez already has at his disposal 2 goal-keepers, this has not stopped Real Madrid from attempting to sign Manchested United’s David de Gea as the Spanish club still has hopes in luring him into the Santiago Bernabeu.

The German midfielder Sami Khedira has been dropped from being a consistent and regular starter for Real Madrid to only being able to play a few minutes on a few matches.
Luka Modric, James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos are preferred options of Carlo Ancelotti in his midfield and this leaves Sami Khedira on the sidelines of Real Madrid as the German defensive midfielder has to settle with a place on the bench.

After the sale of German playmaker Mesut Ozil, Real Madrid have come in for a lot of criticism from various quarters. The 24-year-old midfielder was one of the best players of the Madrid team, but he was sold by the club in order to raise the money to bring in Gareth Bale.
The Wales international has cost the Spanish club £ 86 million in transfer fees. Ozil has been one of the best playmakers in the world over the last five years. He has been a major reason behind Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the goals that he has done since moving to Madrid in 2009.

The former Portuguese midfielder Deco has hailed the managerial record of the Real Madrid manager José Mourinho by saying that it is impossible for anyone to come close to the achievements of the Portuguese.
Mourinho is one of the few managers to have lifted the league title in four different countries, while he has also managed to create two Champions League winning teams. Barcelona has maintained its no. 1 ranking in the La Liga points table by playing a draw against the arch rival Real Madrid at Camp Nou on Sunday. There was huge excitement in Spain about this all important encounter. 95,000 people were present in the stadium to watch the match and the supporters would have got their money’s worth. It was a thriller of a match. Both the teams scored two goals each and the match ended in a draw.

Spanish club Real Madrid have been showing a lot of interest in Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, but the Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has said that the player is not available for sale.
The Chilean joined Juventus only last season four £ 8.5 million, but it is thought that the Real Madrid are willing to pay up to at least £ 30 million for the player, who has been instrumental in Juventus closing in on the title this season. Juventus are only two victories away from sealing the title, which will be the first since the famous match fixing scandal in 2006.
